This was my first time visiting Davio's, and we stopped in for a late-night dessert. The hostess was cordial, as was the bartender (we sat at the bar since it was almost closing time). I ordered molten chocolate cake with vanilla bean ice cream. The cake was a tad dry but had a very rich chocolate flavor that I appreciated. The plating was beautiful, and I think if I felt more welcomed, I would've enjoyed my dessert more.

The service was great, food was good. Only reason why I am giving 4 out of 5 is because my steak was partially medium and partially medium well done. I asked for it medium well. And another person in my party asked for their steak medium rare and it was basically completely rare. This is an expensive steak house, you would think the steaks would be cooked perfectly, esp for the price. But overall, we had a good time and will prob go back again... someday.

Wife and I love sitting at the bar. Wonderful service by the bartenders. The food is always great as is the atmosphere.
